Family Movie Night Presents: Ratatouille
With summer ending in 12 days I wanted to start up a weekly tradition with my kids. Once a week during school have a designated night to get together. A themed dinner/movie night. This would include food , decor, music, movie candy, and of course the movie!
I started off with a dinner plan and of course I had to make ratatouille.
This was my final menu and movie ticket! I do realize that this was an Italian menu for a french movie. I wanted to watch Lady and Tramp but my babies wanted to watch Ratatouille. So I just rolled with it!
(Here are some pictures of the food I made)
Then I moved on with decor. I hit up my local Dollar Tree for a table cloth, plates, napkins, and candles. Since I made my own sauce I bought prettier tomato cans to reuse them. The flower “vases” I filled them with carnation flowers to make it more festive.

After dinner we popped popcorn, set out candy bowls, and got comfy!
I must say it was a successful evening. The kids/ adults had a blast and can’t wait for next week!
I would say the total cost of the evening was $30 bucks for 8 people! That’s for decor and food.
