I have been racking my brain for a good teacher gift to start off the new year. For the last two years I have giving coffee mugs filled with instant coffee, and tea. Like in the picture below!
(sorry for the low quality picture)
So this year I wanted to do something a little different. So I hit up Pinterest for some inspiration and was flooded by all the ideas. So I got it down to 2 ideas! Then went to Facebook for friends/family input. Thanks ladies!! So Isaiah and I decided that we would do a basket full of teacher supplies. Isaiah had the final decision on what went in the basket. Here is a list of what we picked out! Plus where and the price! The whole project cost 12.19 (before tax)
*RED PENS (Walmart .97 cents)
*BLACK PENS (Walmart .97 cents)
*COLORFUL PENCILS (Walmart .75 cents)
*HIGHLIGHTERS (Walmart $1.29)
*DRY ERASE MARKERS ( Walmart Clearances .50 cents)
*POST-IT NOTES (Walmart .89 cents)
*HAND SANITIZE (Walmart .99 cents)
*APPLE HAND LOTION ( Bath and BODY Works $3.50)
*ADVIL ( Dollar Tree .33 cents)
Totaling $10.19 (before tax)
Here are some pictures of the supplies
So next I had to find something to hold all this stuff and how I would decorated it. So while on one of my many trips to the Dollar Tree I found a round red tin! Perfect for our project! Next Isaiah and I bought some crayons 2/ $1 buck at Walmart. Next we hot glued the crayons one by one till we our final product.
I must say it’s pretty cute and functional. Here’s to starting off the school year right by helping our newest Teacher!
